Messege from freya
“With Freya,: go into your landscape find the wisdom of the nature. as the viper slithers around heather, so those messages within your consciousness, even on the barren land, there is something that can grow, blossom, set roots, nourish, transform, take minerals, and create wisdom out of them. Create a form, and experience. Seek the wisdom of the crow, sober and cackling, one that sees through and travels from one state to another, between the worlds. Between consciousnesses. Bathe yourself in wind and in that wind find love of existence, find love. I was never about love that is pink and fluffy. Love I teach is unconditional to the bare bone; despite hardship, through hardship. Love found in places that seemingly should not bear love. and yet it prevails and yet it’s there. So go into the land. and there will you find me.”
channeled message from Freya, by Ada Maria, 23.05.2026, Nationalpark Thy, Vang
On Saturday, I was sitting on dunes of the Nordic Desert in National Park Thy. When I reached out to Freya, she came to me with a pure and deep message, which you can read above, on finding meaning, wisdom and her particular frequency of love. This stream of intelligence coming from her opened a new way of seeing and understanding the unique composition of love and power Freya carries. When she came to me in 2023, initiating me into shamanic practice, a story I would like to share one day in length, she presented me with a totemic animal, a grey forest cat, skogkatt, feline fairy ally which is one of her mysteries. Read here about Freya as a Feline Back then, I understood that she not only is the Venus of North, but carries a deep power, and she scared me with her might. No wonder she too is patron of war, connecting her to Sekhmet and Durga.

Venus, Great Mother and the Wild Woman
When we connect with her, it’s clear she embodies a different principle of divine love, still part of the Galactic Mother, or Great Goddess, streaming the light of sensuality, flowing and motherly compassion yet so far from Aphrodite, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene or Venus. She has the quality of Wild Woman, one who can carry love in the harshest conditions. As I see Her, I connect to prehistoric humanity, to post-glacial era when peoples life was so precious in pure existence and being in perpetual rhythm of nature. Her practice of magick and establishing tradition of völva is deeply shamanic and connected to the realms of drum. Her more venutian aspects of sexuality, pleasure, material possession (all themes of Venus, astrological body, and the signs of Taurus and Libra) can paint a picture of softer expression of her, while the particularly interesting thing for me is her connection to weaving. Within Freya we can find the maiden qualities of the sensually seeking youthful goddess, basking in her beaty and in the beauty of creation. We find mother. We find crone. And the Seer.

weaving
As we read in myths, we find goddess being involved in the weaving practice, in Freyas and Friggs1, case we touch upon a valuable clue to her connection to the weaving arts being a part of sacred creation ritual, a part of school for divine conception as interpreted by Marguerite Rigoglioso in her research on Divine Birth23. Weaving, as a historically feminine art, has always been connected to the goddesses. Here, she is using weave as a part of magically manipulating the fabric of others life – adjusting karma, timelines, the quantum field of a being coming to her for her services. That is a truly groundbreaking and profound skill she teaches devoted völvas, able to comprehend the fabric of life.
Quite intrestingly, as a trained and practicing designer, I have been working with weave and textile for decades, subconsciously giving it the symbolic meaning of being a representation of many becoming one, of unification of complexity into a useful and beautiful matter, / if we look into ethymology, there is a stream of conneciton between matter, matere, materia, and after de Vaan and Watkins4, mother.

- according to some mythology scolars, Frigg and Freya are two later nominal separations of a deity previously known as Frija, in Germanic traditions.
